About Us

Pass With Flying Colors was founded in 2010 to support underserved Chicago Public Schools high school students to be successful in college.

We believe that a college degree provides young people with more than just increased salary prospects or job opportunities. It also opens the door to new opportunities and choices in their adult lives, and creates positive impact in Chicago’s communities.

With equal focus on college preparation and degree attainment from our inception, PWFC stands out as one of the few Chicago organizations with an 8-year approach to college access and persistence. We support first-generation scholars not just through high school or the college transition, but through college graduation and career launch.

Together, our staff, volunteers, board of directors, and donors create a community of support that surrounds our scholars during their 8-year journey to college graduation.
