From a young age, Sabrina knew she wanted to live a life helping others. Throughout her college career, Sabrina volunteered and interned at various nonprofit organizations that worked on women’s rights, homelessness, and workforce development. In that time she learned the importance of development work and fundraising. To gain more knowledge and master her skills in the development field, she received an opportunity at Kohl Children’s Museum to support the development department in promoting early childhood education in undeserved neighborhoods throughout the Chicagoland area. Understanding the importance of education, especially higher education, Sabrina is now at Pass With Flying Colors as the Development & Communications Associate.

What I Wish I Knew My First Year
“I wish I utilized the resources provided by the university much more. There are so many forms of outlets on campus – organized groups, programs, activities, etc. – that support the needs of students.”
Favorite Place on Campus
“My favorite place on campus was Smith Memorial Hall. I remember walking into my first lecture of the year and turning in a full circle to admire the architectural design of the room. It was the most beautiful place on campus.”
