Summer Programs

“I got more choices, the more I participated [in Pass With Flying Colors]. I was able to learn more about a lot of things. My eyes were opened to a lot more opportunities and ideas for myself that I know I can achieve farther down the line.” - Alexis M., Class of 2020

Summer Warm Up

Summer Warm Up is a month-long summer enrichment program for high school students. Students can choose among a variety of workshops including creative writing with 826CHI, SAT Math Bootcamp, and our College Application Intensive.  Summer Warm Up is open to current PWFC students and other first-generation students.

Do Something! Challenge

First-generation high school students explore college and career interests while enriching their college profile. The Do Something! Challenge guides students to identify, apply to and participate in summer programs, academic programs, summer employment, college and career exploration and service learning opportunities. All first-generation Chicago students are eligible to complete the challenge.
